St Bartholomew's Church

Who are we:

We are a welcoming and inclusive Christian community in a constantly and rapidly changing area, to which many people have belonged for a long time.

Our aim is to reflect the spirit of togetherness and caring seen in the statue of the Holy Family on the front of the church. Our diverse congregation is aged 0 to 90+ years, from all walks of life. We are always pleased to see newcomers and visitors, so do give us a try sometime.

Where to find us:

  • St Bartholomew's Church and Centre 292b Barking Rd, East Ham, London E6 3BA. Find directions here.

What's on:

Our church is based in a modern and multifunctional building, open seven days a week, with various activities in the centre. The church is open for quiet prayer and we have regular services on Thursdays and Sundays, with many seasonal services.

There is a community cafe in our building - please click here for opening times and other details.

Services Times:

  • Sunday Eucharist: 10.00 am;

  • Morning Prayer: Wednesday at 8.50 am;

  • Midweek Eucharist: Thursday at 12.15 pm (please note this service does not happen in August).
